Who we are

ARK Sports is executed by the company Yonk Sports AB, registered at Järnvägsgatan 15, 131 54 Nacka, Sweden, with organization/company number 559120-6973. ARK Sports sells sports products and services to individuals of legal age (16 or older).

What we collect and store

When you visit our site, we collect information about your device, interaction, and necessary information to process your purchases. We may also collect additional information if you contact us for customer support.

  • Business purpose: shared with our processor Shopify, logistics, and shipping carriers.

Customer support information

  • Examples of information collected: any information you send us in a support matter, such as name, email address, and any personal circumstances you describe when contacting us.
  • Purpose of collection: to provide customer support.
  • Source of collection: collected from you.
  • Business purpose: shared with our support platform ZenDesk.

Minors

The site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children. However, if you are the parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address below to request deletion.

How we store data

We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for two (2) years for warranty, tax, and accounting purposes. That includes your name, email address, and billing/shipping address.

Your personal information will be initially processed in Ireland and then transferred outside of Europe for storage and further processing, including Canada and the United States. Who on our team has access?

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us:

  • Order information like what was purchased, when you bought it and where we should send it, and
  • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing/shipping information and
  • Technical data like IP address and web browser type.

Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds, support you, maintain the security of our website and the collected data and optimize the site.

What we share with others

We share your information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfill our contracts with you. For example:

Automatic decision-making

We do not engage in fully automated decision-making that uses customer data and has a legal or otherwise significant effect. Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you. Services that include elements of automated decision-making include:

  • Temporary denylist of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions. This denylist persists for a small number of hours.
  • Temporary denylist of credit cards associated with denylisted IP addresses. This denylist persists for a small number of days.

Cookies

We use several cookies, including functional, performance, advertising, and social media or content cookies. Cookies improve your browsing experience by allowing the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login and region selection).
