ARK CARBON MATTR™ is built for experienced swimrun athletes looking for one thing: more speed.

This is not a beginner paddle. It is the evolution of years of racing, testing and developing equipment together with experienced, curious and driven swimrun athletes from swimmers with competitive backgrounds to athletes who discovered swimming later in life and learned how to go seriously fast.

THE ARK SHAPE EVOLVED

ARK CARBON MATTR™ builds on the unique shape of our Carbon Rockets.

Instead of simply making a larger traditional paddle, the ARK shape moves the leverage inward, closer to the body where you are stronger. This allows you to engage more muscle groups throughout the stroke, helping you generate power while delaying muscular fatigue over long swimrun races.

For ARK CARBON MATTR™, we took that concept one step further.

The characteristic “ears” have been extended, allowing the hand to sit higher on the paddle and increasing the leverage.

ARK CARBON MATTR™ is made from carbon fiber with two deliberately different surfaces.

The hand-facing side has a matte finish, helping your fingers stay securely positioned on the paddle.

The water-facing side is smooth and glossy, designed to move as cleanly and efficiently through the water as possible.

Every surface has a purpose.

BUILT TO RACE

A race paddle needs to be light and fast but it also needs to survive racing.

That’s why MATTR™ is reinforced with extra layers of carbon fibers which increased strength and durability.

And the straps? Rubber straps that are almost unbreakable are included.

DOES IT FLOAT?

If you’re moving fast enough to race with MATTR™, you probably won’t have time to take them off anyway and the straps will never break.
